It was peaceful and comfortable. Very quiet at night. Surrounded by wildlife. There was everything we needed to cook and the shower was good. Lots of drying space for swimming things. It was a good base to explore the island, but also close to Kingscote and the airport.

Fantastic location with superb views across the bay. Quiet and peaceful. Jireh was equipped with everything we needed. Nothing had been missed. So much attention to detail. The only comment would be that the pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked but that would be the only negative and did in no way affect my enjoyment of the holiday. Thoroughly recommend.

Our three-night stay at Emu Bay Holiday Homes was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views towards the beach—especially at sunrise, which was simply magical. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the wealth of information provided in both the physical and digital guestbook. The digital version was a great touch, allowing us to explore the area and plan our trip even before arriving. One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife right on the property! We were lucky enough to spot three koalas in the trees, as well as kangaroos grazing nearby—such a special experience. The host was exceptional—extremely friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with any questions. It’s clear they take great pride in ensuring guests have a memorable stay. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning scenery, comfortable accommodation, and amazing hospitality, Emu Bay Holiday Homes is the perfect choice. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
