The Sorell Hotel Rex is only a few minutes walk away from the heart of Zurich. It is close to popular shopping areas, the university (ETH) and only 15 minutes from the airport. Free Wi-Fi is available.

10/10 The staff was really nice and helpful and pillows and mattress was great to sleep. There were nice shampoo and shower gel (quality) in the bathroom. We had tea and coffee options to choose from. 8/10 Price was nice as for Zürich - the bakery across the street is a must visit. The buns were delicious. Close to the natural museum in case you have some free time to spend there.

We had a delightful 3-night stay at Sorell Hotel Rex in December, leaving with happy memories. From the prompt response to my room request to the detailed pre-arrival email, the seamless check-in process set the tone for our stay. Arriving early, we were pleased to find our room ready and exactly as requested—a lovely space with a stunning Zurich city view. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a full-size bathroom and high-quality touches like goose feather bedding, soft towels, and convenient amenities such as a coffee machine and yoga mat. It was quiet, cozy, and perfect for a longer stay. The breakfast buffet offered fresh, high-quality options, including locally sourced products. We appreciated the efficient service during busy moments and the all-day refreshment corner with complimentary drinks and snacks. The location was convenient, with easy tram access to the airport and city center, and the peaceful residential setting made it a serene retreat. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional, enhancing the overall experience. Sorell Hotel Rex is inspired by Susanna Orelli, a pioneer in women’s entrepreneurship and a supporter of the Zurich community. Staying in a hotel with such a meaningful legacy added a special dimension to our visit. We highly recommend Sorell Hotel Rex for its exceptional hospitality, comfort, and inspiring story.
