This hotel is do it yourself type . No staff to fill in the check in details.You have to do it yourself. There is no option for early check in as the hotel itself has no staff and it opens up later in the day.(dont know the time) The rooms were very small and cramped up. The cot was pushed up to the corner that means we had entry only from one side. No table or chair just a small sitting arrangement for 2 person close to the door. Coffee maker was available. The staff whom I called up was very helpful she was sitting at Hotel Montana and she came out and took us ot Hotel Josef and also helped us in keeping our bags at the basement. Location full marks . Close to Zurich HBF Exit from Platform 18

Amazing location, friendly staff, the room was bigger than expected with high quality bedding, coffee machine, soaps etc. Check in process was seamless also. I would happily stay here again.

Easy electronic check-in and key drop checkout. Location is perfect, close to the train station and a bunch of restaurants. Rooms are on a smaller size, but conveniently equipped.

I enjoyed staying at Hotel Josef. Our room was big and cosy. The lights were low, but I personally like that in a hotel if I'm travelling for pleasure. We were especially pleased with the Nespresso machine and the coffee options left for us to enjoy.
