We are unaccustomed to Swiss prices so it felt very expensive. Towels were on their last season,threadbare... side table was quite dusty. Check in & evening Staff were excellent. Love the room, the heating, breakfast was basic, poor bread choice. ( we stayed in 14 different places in 2weeks, I feel it's ok to have an opinion). Sister hotel in Grimentz was better for breakfast. ( Eggs was a rare treat) After walking in the mountains & staying in huts, this was one of the most comfy places. A perfect location in a quiet end of season town.

Amazing, comfortable bed, and incredible breakfast (seriously, one of the best on our Walkers Haute Route). The staff were especially lovely and helpful. Zinal is a lovely town, make sure you try the bakery next to the hotel.
