The owner is a super nice, funny and helpful lady. Even though she doesn’t speak English, she came to me proactively on several occasions to help me figure out buses or even ask if she could lend me a jacket because of the cold weather. I got a pretty room with wooden walls, the bed was very comfortable, there is a desk and even enough space to lay down a yoga mat. The room and private bathroom were shiny clean. Breakfast was a Taiwanese buffet, mostly (if not all) vegetarian, very delicious.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We felt like home. The room was clean, spacious and located in the center of Fenqihu. Moreover, the breakfast was really traditional and delicious. Luckily, we got an upgrade of the room. It was in a pretty wooden style with a bathtub.

Comfortable, well positioned 200m from the train station and the busier part of this very small village. Good wifi, comfortable beds, lovely staff. The hostess was so helpful and even drove us to the next village to take the early bus to Alishan. No English spoken but google translate works really well. Couldn’t be happier with the accomodation. Breakfast was interesting. Tea and coffee available anytime. Several places to get meals in the village. Highly recommended.

Very near bus station and old town. Clean and comfortable. Owner was kind to drive me to another bus station to take the bus to Alishan as the bus departing Fengqihu leaves very late.

The room and the bathroom were basic but very clean. Breakfast was good. The owner is very helpful and entertaining. She gave me a lift to the bus stop. She really cares about her hostel and wants to improve where possible (e.g there were some reviews of other people about small towels. When I stayed I got a big and small towel.)

The lady that runs the place is super nice and energetic! She was very kind letting us cheak out 1 hour later than usual. We got a very cute double room (all wooden) and it was magical:) And I must say it was the cleanest room we had for 2 weeks!

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. The hotel is very close to the old streets and bus station. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were very helpful and kind. The boss drove us to the bus stop each morning to go to Alishan, as it would have been a very long walk, she told us which bus we had to get back, which dropped us off right outside the hotel. My wife was sick during our stay and the boss drove us to see the doctor, and helped us to communicate with the doctor. When we didn’t have cash to pay for medication, she paid for us and said it was okay for us to pay her back later. She is incredibly kind and also very humble. We cannot thank her enough for her kindness. I would recommend this hotel to everyone travelling to the area.

The bed and bedsheets were super comfortable and we slept like a baby. There is breakfast provided every morning which is cooked by the owner, and it's very homey. The rooms were kept very clean, and facilities were great. We got to speak with the owner on multiple occasions, and she's really very cute! She's like everybody's grandmother, and makes sure that your stay is comfortable and all your needs are met!

It was great. Especially the owner, who helped us a lot with everything and was very friendly. AI if you don't know Chinese, don't worry, with a little pantomime and modern technology you can agree on everything.
