Zermatt is car-free. Access for private cars is only possible as far as Täsch (about 6 km from Zermatt). The road between Täsch and Zermatt is closed to private transport. From Täsch, there is a shuttle train service, the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, every 20 minutes.Please note that the hotel offers free transfers from and to the train station, the taxi stand or the Zermatt Heliport from 08:00 to 19:00. Guests are kindly requested to inform the property in advance of their estimated time of arrival if they wish to make use of this service.If you are travelling with children, please inform the property in advance of the number of children arriving and their age. The shuttle bus pick us up from the train station and drive us across the town and view. A warm welcome from the staff upon our arrival and a welcome Zermatt beer as our welcome drink!! Staff also directly send our luggage to our room. Friendly staff also take us for a hotel tour and introduce us all the facilities. They have pool that is in-door and you can swim to out-door. Have spa and all kinds of facilities!!! The room view is astonishing and stunning Matterhorn view directly from our room and bed!!! We can sit outside the balcony and have the great view of our life with Matterhorn.

Really a pleasant place to stay and I was surprised to find it so family friendly. Their easy going tolerance of young children and the facilities provided for families were a nice find in Zermatt. There is a nice clean baby change table in the dining area, the pencils and colouring in pages as well as chocolates were a simple yet nice touch in the room as were the kids sized slippers and bathrobes. All of the ladies attending to our room, the reception, breakfast service staff and the bahnhof shuttle driver were very helpful, friendly and evidently hard working.
