Room lovely, clean very warm reception from the staff, honestly it was lovely. Over the road is a lovely restaurant and next door one of the main Apres Ski bars so great location for food and drink. Breakfast was perfect with all options. I must also mention the Spar which is as good as any i have been in. The showers down there are perfect for a bigger guy like me that down not easily fit in a bath or bath type shower. The Hotel is a little too Warm for me and I had to turn down all the heaters and the bed way to soft for me and gave me a bad back but my Mrs loved it and is now moaning our bed at home is too hard. What I am saying is its lovely and most people will be very happy here. I am planning on a summer visit to Paraglide and would look to stay here again.

Great location above the Paperla pub so perfect to witness the Apres Ski and rock to the beats thumping up from downstairs. Great value, nice room. Super spa. Nothing to complain about (PS: the pub is not noisy late at night - so no worries there!)

I would definitely return. The staff was great, especially Marc who really engaged with the guests and was super helpful - Thanks, Marc! Everything was great - Room, Breakfast, Location is 600m from the ski lift, the area is great with shops, bars and restaurants.

Charming hotel nicely located. Very kind and helpful staff. Very clean and confortable, nice room. Great breakfast buffet. Good value for money in Zermatt. We highly recommend Hotel Astoria.

The swiss vibes, the people working there and being very helpful. I am not a breakfast person but I will miss there breakfast. It’s not that far from Zermatt train station. Maybe 10-15mins walk.

Good location, near the area that can see the Matterhorn the most clearly. Very spacious, clean, bright and romantic room with a spacious balcony. The smoked wood flooring made our feet feel warm in cold weather (3oC at night) even without carpet. Good breakfast ☺️
