I was very happy with my stay as my room is spacious and comfortable. It was quite a walk from the train station, but it wasn't too bad as I got to see the town for a bit. The staffs were really good and attentive. The best part of my room was the huge balcony that was shared with the rooms at the same level. From the balcony we could catch the peak of the Matterhorn and the beautiful river flowing near the hotel. Breakfast was good. We could arrange for an E-taxi for 6CHF to go anywhere.

Great location, about 10 minute walk from the train station in central Zermatt. The staff were helpful and hospitable. They made sure we had a packed breakfast when we left early on our departure day. The rooms have an older style but are clean and have access to a balcony.

Lovely unspoilt small hotel on the outskirts of Zermatt but close to the lift for the Matterhorn. Good breakfast with some hot as well as cold food.

Went to Zermatt for the Ultraks race and we could have breakfast at 6am Nice to have a minibar in the room Good isolation so not much noise despite the river running just below

Fabulous view of the famous Matterhorn right outside our window - with a balcony. Couldn't ask for more! It's a bit of a schlep up the hill from the station (we hadn't realised Zermatt is car free so you have to arrive by train but there are odd little golf buggy taxis you can get if you want to). We were so lucky this was available at short notice when our previous booking cancelled on us. Zermatt is delightful. Don't miss a walk to the gorge - it's a bit scary if you're afraid of heights but so spectacular. And going on the cable car to the top of the mountain is over £100 each but cheaper than the equivalent ride at the Eiger (£200!) and sooooo beautiful. Wow. Experience of a lifetime. As for the hotel, it was a classic alpine hotel with a nice big bed, bath with shower over it, decent sized room and bathroom. But we did pay for that - £400 for 2 rooms. There's also a nice garden you can sit in. Decent breakfast.

The view of the Matterhorn from the balcony is very, very good. It was worth it booking this room to get the view. It is also within walking distance of Glacier Paradise, which is convenient. The area is quiet, only the sound of the river at night. The breakfast spread was also superb. Staff were helpful, especially the old guy who seemed in charge. The young lady on checkout was a bit curt, but still helped us get a taxi service

The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was good. The location was nice, a little off from the city center but not to far to be a problem. We loved the room. it was spacious with a table and a small kitchen. The bathroom was big and clean. The river that ran close by was excellent as a white noise for a pleasant night sleep.
