Hotel Overview

Only a short walk away from the Schmittenhöhe cable car, Der Waldhof enjoys a quiet location above Zell am See and offers free WiFi. Guests benefit from a spa area and during winter the possibility to ski-in and ski-out.
The new 1000m² spa area has separate areas for families and adults only as well as an all year round indoor pool which can be used free of charge. The property also offers an outdoor children´s playground and 2 indoor playing rooms.
During summer months guided walks, wine tasting take place once a week free of charge and winter you can enjoy an apres-ski snack in the afternoon free of charge when booking with a half-board.
All rooms at Hotel Der Waldhof have a balcony, cable TV, a minibar, and a bathroom with a hairdryer.
Der Waldhof has a ski and bicycle rental on site, ski passes can be bought here as well and ski classes can be booked at reception. It also offers free private parking. The city centre is 500 metres away.

This room is furnished with a double bed and a pull-out sofa, this offering sufficient space for 2-4 people. The basic fixtures include a shower with separate WC, TV, radio, minibar and mini safe, free Wi-Fi and a balcony. Located in the newest part of the hotel - newly build in December 2017.

We had a budget room. It was OK, but the hotel was quite old and needs to be repaired I think in that area. Mabye I should have put a little more money to in to the room, pictures looked better. It would be nice if the couples could have own time to the swimming area. The nude area is not so tempting. Breakfast was good, I didnt understand why the table had to be booked. There was another family in our table in the second day. Staff was kind and helpfull. Thank you!
