Very tidy, very cosy, good location, beside a shop, warm, convenient, great parking, Helga is lovely. Heated storage area for ski boots, comfy beds, loads of toilet paper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, towels, extra bedding, nicely decorated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The family were very friendly and this accommodation offered everything we were looking for and needed for the week. It’s in a great location, five minutes walk to the ski lift, three supermarkets are nearby so you can buy tea, coffee, milk, and any other bits you might need. There are lots of ski rental places too. We were able to get a bus from the airport to Schuttdorf bus station and walk five minutes to the property, and then took the ski bus to Zell am See train station where we got a train straight into the centre of Salzburg where we explored before getting a connection to the airport. From the property you can see the peak of Krizsteinhorn which is breathtaking, and the bus stop to get into Kaprun for more skiing is just a couple of minutes walk away. Overall our expectations were beyond exceeded.

I don't write reviews so often but haus schmidl deserves one. We stayed in the studio in our skiing vacation. Everything was beyond perfect and even much better than on the pictures. The kitchen is new and so clean. Don't bother to bring your own cutlery, kitchen accesories or anything else because its all there. Ms Schmidl is so kind and the homemade honey is a nice gesture. The ski lifts are so close you can easily walk. This was a perfect accomodation and i would love to come next year again. I hope it will be available. Thanks for everything!
