I had an amazing stay at this charming hotel in the heart of Stonetown, Zanzibar. The location couldn't have been better—perfectly situated to explore the rich history and vibrant culture of the area. The building itself is full of character and steeped in history, adding a unique touch to the experience. The staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the freshly squeezed juices, which were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Zanzibar; it's an unforgettable experience!

We had a beautiful room in this lovely hotel. Located in the centre of old Stone town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely quirky hotel in the heart of stone town. The bed was very comfortable and large (not always the case on Zanzibar!) and the room was full of historical touches and decoration. It was our honeymoon and the staff kindly upgraded us to the honeymoon suite which had an incredible outdoor bathroom, would recommend!

We had the Kijani suite which was huge. My mum enjoyed the big double bed and I had a comfortable big single bed.the hotel is located in an old merchants house, very beautifully decorated Its right in the historic town centre. Walking distance to all the sights and shops. The owner Daniella was do helpful in organising a taxi from the airport and our trip to prison island.

Brilliant location in the heart of Stonetown. Close proximity to all the key locations. The staff were really lovely and made me feel welcome. The breakfasts were good and kept me going until dinner time. I loved the quaint feeling of the place, shabby chic is how I describe it. The authenticity and Zanzabarian decor was amazing. A delightful boutique hotel.
