Historic building, beautiful. Owner Dawid very friendly and good. He fulfilled all my requests, also gave many valuable tips about the city and trips, ordered taxis for us at a good price and there were no problems. Like a real African brother and guide. I highly recommend this safe and good place. You will not regret it.

The room was big and the bed very comfy. I liked the decor and paintings througout the hotel. Breakfast was really good and plenty of it. The terasse on top floor was a wonderfull place to hang out and chill. The location behind Victoria Garden and surrounded by trees, makes it feel like a little oasis in the middle of the buzzing city. At night you can hear the bushbabies play in the trees. Very easy to get around Stone Town from here. Somebody said there was no plug for the sink - I asked for a bucket to rinse my clothes in - problem solved! Very good value for money!

The rooms are very clean. I stayed there for 3 nights and it was very comfortable. It is close to the center. The breakfast is very good and the staff is very helpful.
