After a week of safari with attentive and positive staff the staff at Kisiwa left a lot to be desired. The beds were two twins pushed together. The shower clogged badly and when we asked to change the room it was not understood. Before arriving they were very push to book tours etc.

The location is great, a short walk from the heart of everything. The rooms and bathrooms are big abd spacious and breakfast really good.

The house was very comfortable with especially spacious bedroom, well maintained with a modern excellent bathroom. The location was great being within the historic Stone Town area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. A calm haven from the hustle and bustle of the town.

We spend our last day in stone town and it was so nice that the hotel was located near all the sightseeings. The manager (Frank) was very helpful. He arranged a tour for us to prison island which made our last day incredible. Also for the the next morning he arranged a taxi to the airport for us and they gave us a breakfast box to go, which was lovely. The hotelroom was clean. The room and especially the bathroom looks better in reality than in the pictures. What we also loved about the bathroom is that they gave us water in the bottles for brushing our teeth. In the other hotels we bought our own bottles and therefore we were amazed by this little detail. The staff in the hotel were also very lovely.

It was extremely clean, beautiful Zanzibari furniture and beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant. The best best best thing were the staff. Genuine warm smiles and amazing service. I arrived at 1AM, could expect grumpy or sleepy faces but they so warmly received me, introduced me to the amenities and showed me to my room for a very very comfortable sleep in a beautiful cool room. Breakfast was very fresh and yummy. I really loved the a la carte breakfast, just feels so much more personal than buffet. Loved it.
