Very friendly and helpful host, who greeted us on arrival and showed us round the apartment, explaining how to access all features, etc and left us his Whatsapp number in case of any queries. We were very tired because of the early flight to Zadar and were most relieved to find that Josip had provided all the ingredients to prepare a simple meal and a bottle of wine and beer on the house! Couldn't have asked for more.

The place was located about 20 min on foot and less than 5 by car from the city center, in a residential block that’s very calm and clean with plenty of green areas surrounding it. There’s a super market around the corner that stays open until late at night, which was very convenient, as well as a lovely restaurant nearby that served delicious grilled meat and other dishes (we ate there on our first and last night). Josip, our host, was amazing and hospitable in every sense of the way. He knew we were coming by car from the airport late at night so he saved us a parking spot by the building and was cheerful through the entire introduction and explanations he offered. His apartment was perfect, very clean and tidy and he provided so many essentials as well snacks, fruits, some beverages and breakfast necessities, and offered a bottle of wine to welcome us ! Everything you could possibly need during your stay was provided and then some more on top! There’s one bedroom and the living area can also be a dormitory with the couch that expands into a comfortable bed for two. There was a terrasse that overlooks the back garden of the building as well as a bit of the sea that’s peeking between the trees. Such a calm place to enjoy your breakfast with a bit of breeze if you’d like. Josip was also helpful with info regarding what to do in Zadar and its surrounding, and easily reachable vis WhatsApp in case we uneeded anything. Overall, a perfect stay with a perfect host and a lovely refreshing weather tied the knot on what was a great escape for us as a family. Highly recommend and we would gladly come back again!
