The family that runs this BB are very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is opposite the pier. The free bike ride tour at 6am is so great- just pay 100 yuan for bike rental. Breakfast has many options.

The location was perfect, very classy design that stand out differently from the rest of the hotel and stay in the area. The owner (host) of the stay (Mr and Mrs Wang and Wang Ma Ma) were very friendly and helpful to ensure that our needs were met. We observed that they did not serve same breakfast, so some good choices of variety day to day. The stay offered a 5 am sunrise cycling tour around the south of the lake free (just pay for your own bicycle rental), where there are some nice scenic spot to take picture of the tranquility of the lake which looks different. Mr Wang will personally lead the tour, and he explained and told stories of the lake that my family enjoyed. He will also help to take very beautiful picture for the for the family. There is no parking lot at the hotel, but the host will paid your vehicle parking for a nearby car park for the stay which we were grateful. There are some house rules, and love the rules so that everyone can be considerate and have a pleasant stay. The room are very interestingly designed and well maintained. We enjoyed the comfy stay and yet felt at home.

Staff were very welcoming. The cleanliness of the rooms. Rooms are large -- no worries of being claustrophobic. Access to the property via security card after midnight, which is good.

Everything from Management, staff, location, cleanliness and morning bike tour to view lake and surrounding mountains at different vantage points which was very informative and enjoyable! Comfortable stay to visit Sun Moon Lake!

We love the morning tour with the boss where he shares the lovely views and history of the lake with us on bicycle. It is a must to do even though it is very early in the morning. We love the room too. It is so comfortable and homely. Beds are very comfortable and the view from the room is nice as well. The breakfast is super good too, nice home cooked taiwanese fare that is cooked simply to capture the goodness of the food.

Fresh and clean. Love their taiwan style breakfast so much Love the host spend the effort with us to see the sunrise, share with us the story about sun moon lake. This has been the best memory of our taiwan trip ❤️

Breakfast was simple. But nice and home cooked food feeling. So it was good. Location was quite near the bus which we alighted from the bus stop.
