Great location right next to the lake, bus station and food street. I love it so much, the room is large, convenient and has everything you might need. Rooftop is super chill, I'm so glad I met a bunch of nice fun people there and we enjoyed the night talk and cycling together

Friendly and helpful staff. Everything is clean. Great rooftop common area. Really close to the bus stop to & from Taichung, and next to the walking/bike paths, and ferry across the lake.

The staff, especially the owner, are incredibly nice. There's a good community feel on the rooftop, with lots of travelers who are open to a chat (mostly Western tourists). Location: less than 5 minutes from the bus stop.

Had wonderful few days wandering around Sun Moon Lake and this hostel was part of the best memories I will keep. From the facilities which are clean and so smartly organised to the international/multicultural staff who've welcomed me so warmly, it was a lovely stay. (They even have discounts for the boats trip and for bike rental.)

The staff was great. The owner in particular. For example, he helped us find a place to eat where the allergies my partner would not be a problem. The vibe in the hostel is also great. The fact that you are not allowed to eat in the rooms allows people to always gather up on the roof. Which creates an environment for chatter. The roof was also great. A great place to rest after a long day of sightseeing. In the morning you can hear nature communicating all around you. Just to be slowly overtaken as we humans wake up and take over the ambience.

Nanou was an exceptional host. He was very friendly and took the time to explain the sights to see in the area as well as the hostel's facilities. When you come to the hostel, the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. Whether you want to join for a social or prefer solo activities, this hostel caters for both. The living area is relaxed, with blankets and a lovely view of the start of sun moon lake.

The location was a short walk from the bus station and right next to the Sun Moon Lake cycleway. It was also close to restaurants, cafes, shops and the pier. I got a lovely welcome from Karen and a very good introduction from Nanou who runs Dreamy Nomads. He has thought of everything including cycling and walking routes you can download to your phone. He also has organised discounts with businesses in the town for travellers staying at Dreamy Nomads. On my first night there Nanou invited us guests to a dinner that his neighbours had organised to celebrate the end of the Chinese New Year at the local temple. I really enjoyed the friendliness of Nanou’s neighbours and the home cooked food was delicious. The beds were really comfortable . Toast orange juice and coffee on the rooftop terrace was delightful. Nanou and his volunteers were so very helpful in advising details of activities and trips each day. It was my birthday on one of the days I stayed there and Nanou and his team organised a birthday cake and everyone on the terrace shared in my celebrations. The atmosphere on the roof to terrace in the evenings was always good. I was sorry to leave, it felt like I was leaving family .
