I like how cozy and quiet it was. The station itself is a beautiful building and they have kept what seemed like a lot of its original features. I was traveling alone and felt very safe staying there. The room was very nicely decorated with a lovely private bathroom. I found my room to be very clean and comfortable. The cafe style room that I had breakfast in was equally as cozy. The breakfast assortment was varied and fresh. The people who worked there were very friendly.

Location was great- close to ferry and train station. Room was big and clean. Breakfast really tasty, with decent choice of food.

Beautiful renovation of the old railway station. Easy parking in the carpark next door. Great breakfast. Close walk into old town

Super location. Next to car park. Beautifully designed interior. Bedroom 13 was superb. On the end with huge front and side windows and views of the ferries and sea. The decor and furnishings were chosen to compliment the entire building and worked well. The big bed was extremely comfortable. The reception was unmanned in the afternoon but information provided prior to arrival ensured a smooth entrance into this locked building. The continental style breakfast was good and the staff were lovely and welcoming. As a Wallander enthusiast, I was pleased to be able to pick up a leaflet in the reception mapping out the different film locations. Ystad is extremely pretty and well worth a visit. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the Stationen. I would like to return again one day.

Of course a very centrally located hotel, close to everything! Nevertheless the room was very quiet and no problem sleeping a good night sleep. The hotel is run by four sisters, who conscientious work to make the place to a high standard hotel with a personal touch 😊 Also a historic place for everyone knowing the police character Kurt Wallander 🎬

Room was really quirky, with lovely furnishings and a large, clean bathroom. The little kitchen was a great asset with fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine etc. The breakfast was lovely too - super calm environment with plenty of space and really fresh food: a range of breads, cheeses, meats, fish, vegetables, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cereal.

We really loved this hotel. It was very interesting to sleep in old railway station close by real train station. Also we had view at pier and we saw a lot ships coming and going.
