Great location just off the main square. The owner and his wife were friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect for a solo traveler, on the second floor, compact but with 2 single beds. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with all that you would expect, cereals, croissants, breads, yogurts, biscuits, fruits, cheeses and the option of a bespoke cooked breakfast. Excellent value for money. I’ve been to Ypres many times but have never stayed at the Ambrosia before, but now feel I’ve found my favourite. Thoroughly recommend.

Lots of options for breakfast, everything delicious and beautifully set out. Beds were really comfy, the room and the facilities were super. Should be awarded more stars for sure.
