Location is excellent, we had a room at the back which was very quiet. Hotel itself is basic (3 star at a guess) enough but comfortable and friendly, looks like it's been recently modernised. Room and bathroom were perfect for our needs, clean and modern. We had dinner (fish and chips) which was reasonably priced and probably the nicest and biggest fish I have ever been served. The fact that the restaurant section was full is an indication of the quality of the food. To be honest, I prefer these local, family-run places than the chain hotels, and this place was very pleasant

Very Comfortable stay at the Old Imperial. Friendly welcome by the manager. The en suite room was clean, modern and well furnished. The rear secure private car parking is reassuring. The location is great in the heart of Youghal. The downstairs bar serves food and lovely pints of Murphy's stout.. Recommended, thanks.

* Location 10/10: Right in the middle of town, among lots of shops and cafes. Perfect Location. * Cleanliness 12/10: Everything was spotless, super clean, the restaurant and our room. Thank you! * Food at their restaurant 12/10: We are both vegan, and the hotel restaurant had plenty of options for us, for everybody, really. Our food was delicious, and the restaurant fantastic, very warm and cosy in an icy chilly night. A pleasure eating in there. * Parking 10/10: The hotel has their own private off the road parking, so handy. Fantastic.
