Loved the cinema room. Lovely hamper and Prosecco on arrival. It was our friends first experience of a house rental and they loved it and they want to do it again. The location was great and there were plenty of pubs bars and restaurants nearby as well as in the centre.

Lovely house with some quirky nick-naks which we loved. Excellent location - just outside the city wall and a few minutes from station. Traffic is very busy around York and parking is difficult - the parking space is a great addition. The bedrooms (2 on the top floor and 1 in the basement) were spacious and beds very comfortable. Kitchen was great - huge American style fridge freezer with cold water & ice, dishwasher and washing machine (which came in very useful when daughter arrived with her washing from uni!). Plenty of utensils, plates, glasses etc. Cinema room was a huge hit - we sat in there every evening watching TV and eating popcorn (courtesy of popcorn maker). Bathroom on 1st floor was compact but functional - shower had good power and was nice and hot. Plenty of towels and spares in wardrobe. Welcome hamper was a lovely surprise! Thanks for a great week.

The whole stay was great! The only downside was the fridge wasn’t cold at all even on the highest temp meaning as this weekend was extremely hot we did have to use ice for our water and some food was wasted as it couldn’t be kept cold. This was the only thing apart from this a great place and great stay!

Good rooms and bedrooms Very clean and nice interior vibes🤗 Very kindly stocked fridge with cava as welcome gift! Very central location for visiting York by foot- good with parking card for payment-parking made available!

The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hamper and cava. A nice wee treat. The house was in walking distance to the Shambles, Minster, Railway Museum.

Beautiful property and welcome package. They had everything you could need at hand for a getaway. Rooms were very clean and beautifully presented. There’s loads to do in the local area and just a short walk to the shambles. Hosts were very informative and helpful leading up to arrival. The cinema room was a lovely touch and made for a cosy night in. They even have a popcorn maker to complement!
