The location was excellent as it was convenient to local shops, cafes and very accessible to the city centre. All amenities were within 20 minutes walking distance.

It was all self catering. Once you read the manual provided to work the appliances, everything went smoothly. Good location.

I chose the location because it was close to my family who live in the next road. It was also within easy walking distance of the city centre. The host had provided a welcome pack plus the most detailed information about facilities I have encountered anywhere. Everything was beautifully presented and it was obvious a lot of thought had gone into the presentation and practicality of living in such a compact space.

The property had all the amenities that we needed. The layout was especially good - so much had been fitted into a small space with no hint of it being cramped, The location is excellent with the city centre a short walk away.

The property was just perfect. It is very well described as'The Little House' but so much is packed into it with excellent use of space. It was ideal for my wife and I to use as a base to explore the sites, restaurants and attractions offered by York. It's a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of York and there's an option to walk along the City Walls from the property to York Minster. The hop on hop off bus tour also stops just outside the property and the property actually features as part of the commentary. We ate at the local cafe 'The Pig' as well as a more central restaurant 'Cote Brasserie' both really good. The host has prepared a folder for guests with everything and more that you'll need to enjoy your stay, as well as a welcome bottle of wine and a sharing bag of crisps. It's the small touches that add to the experience.
