The staff were lovely and very friendly and gave us our money back for a breakfast we missed. They were also very helpful and told us what the best way to get to York was. The breakfast was also very good (we stayed 2 nights). The beds were comfy and the room was clean and the location to the park and ride (the cheapest way to travel into york) was second to none. I would stay again but I'd bring some ear plugs for the road noise.

Location was good easy to catch uber to York city centre. Room nice and clean and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately our TV in the room didn't work but that wasn't a major problem. Lovely cosy pub with pool table and darts board, and singer on in the evening. Breakfast was good.

Friendly staff,clean, nice and warm as we had some cold weather when we stayed. Easy to get to York. Good food,very nice breakfast and cozy atmosphere.

We arrived at 9.45 for breakfast so didnt expect it to be fresh from the grill, however it seemed like it had been there for quite some time could barely even cut through the black pudding and the sausage was very tough, asked for bread to make toast and she never came back. May have been better had we gone earlier but with having a baby in the house we take every oporrubity for a lie in
