Cracking location. Everything in York city centre was walkable. The property ( room 2 ) was cosy, clean and comfortable, with everything that you need including a smart tv which was a bonus not listed on the room details. The pub itself was very welcoming and the food was top notch. An old school pub with a modern twist. We couldn’t have asked for more and at a very reasonable price.

The room was clean and comfortable, coffee/ tea included. No street noise considering the location, which was a short walk to the attractions or town centre. The food served at the inn's restaurant was filling and of good quality, the staff were also helpful and friendly I would recommend this as a pleasant place to stay if visiting York

Amazing venue, incredible staff. Room a little snug, small slimline side cabinets would make the room seem bigger. Windows that open would be great, especially in summer. Incredible parking facilities.

Great location for the Snooker at the Barbican. Interesting pub with great beer and food offering. Landlady very friendly and helpful.

Food was brilliant large portions ,cosy lounge bar with open fires, staff were all fantastic and so helpful. Rooms were small but very clean , location could not have been better 5 minutes from the city Centre

Wonderful our second visit for 3 nights, we did 3 nights last February. Our room was warm and very comfortable. The food excellent and Tasty. Special mention for the staff especially Erin who was so friendly and welcoming which made our stay so lovely. We will be returning again next year for definite
