Our stay at the Moxy was fantastic. The location was a 2 minute walk into York and we had everything on our doorstep. The facilities were fantastic and we had great food and great fun. Would definitely visit again and look forward to seeing the welcoming staff!

Loved the deco/ style, staff was friendly, everywhere was clean, great location, breakfast spot on even had complimentary drinks which was a nice touch. Only issues was the temperature of the bedroom, and the bed/pillows too squishy which made you hotter. Tried putting the aircon on and temperature down to lowest but nothing was working and kept reverting back to the 21 degrees which the room was set at, unfortunately only managed a couple hours sleep because of this.

Breakfast was excellent, a wide range of tasty food. Super location, short walk into the centre. We loved the quirkiness of the hotel and the open plan reception area with a wide range of games to enjoy - which we did! The best part was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who made us feel so welcome. Many thanks!

Perfect location, really friendly staff. The gin cocktail was a lovely surprise and we paid for breakfast the next day, which had a very decent selection and well worth it. I stay in hotels across Europe for work and was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel - would return. Perfect choice for a city stay with my sister.

Really nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free welcome drink at the bar. Good vibes. Room was great as well, clean and spacious. This far exceeded my expectations! Great location too, few minutes walk from the Q Park car park and the Shambles etc.

The breakfasts are very good. Lots of variety and the beds were comfortable. The bar was open late so I could have a drink after finishing work at 2230! Very close to a car park and a 20% discount.
