Love the history of this fab hotel in the middle of York Great location Friendly staff We always stay here on our visits. Nothing it too much trouble Staff go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and love the quirky design and details

Excellent location, very central but really quiet. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful decor in communal areas and room too. The bed was comfy and the room although small was very nice and the coffee machine was a welcome addition.

We loved the friendly staff, especially the cutest little poodles who greeted us each morning. It was in a great location, close to everything but tucked away from the hustle and bustle, clean and beautiful room which became a sanctuary at the end of each day, even the ghost was polite! Very happy and will be returning!
