Great location just inside the walls. In what I'd guess used to be a council estate. The house has been extended and very well finished. With space for 10 people in bedrooms or 12 using the sofa bed, it's great for get-together. 3 bathrooms, too, with 2 ensuite, is manageable for mixed age groups. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a great backyard for eating and partying. And parking for 3 cars easy 4 squeezed is a York bonus.

Group of 5 girl friends spending a weekend in York The house was very clean, warm and inviting when we arrived , loved that the beds were all at least King Size, maybe bigger? bedding was lovely, kitchen well equipped , although we only had tea, coffee and prosecco as we are in town very very convenient for walking into the city centre within 10 minutes . We felt really safe at the location , one of our group headed off home alone earlier than the rest of us and she felt perfectly safe doing so We would 100% stay again

A very convenient location, easy stroll to Fossgate and on into the city. Also well placed to get to the racecourse.

Fabulous house, spotlessly clean and comfortable, huge beds, lovely bathrooms. Very well equipped kitchen. Waitrose nearby. Three proper allocated parking spaces right outside the house - a real bonus. Easy walking distance to all shopping streets and attractions. We never go to the same place twice... but we plan to be back here next year. Communication with Caroline has been excellent; we were even offered early check-in and late check-out at no charge.

Beautiful home in a great location with ample parking space. House throughout is extremely clean and modern. Clear communication with owner and the property suited our needs perfectly, will book again!

Excellent location and really well maintained. Communication with hosts was really good and offers of early check in and late check out were much appreciated.
