The fine print
YHA cannot accept bookings for 16 people or more. Any such bookings will be cancelled by YHA.
The maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights. Following any stay of 14 nights, guests may not stay in any YHA accommodation for at least seven nights.
The ID must match the name and address on the booking. Where a booking is for more than one person, the named person on the booking will need to provide proof of identify that matches the name and address on the booking. ID will also be requested from all other adult guests. These IDs must match the name they sign in with at check in.
Please note discounts are not available for members of YHA (England and Wales) or Hostelling International as part of this booking.
Towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can hire them at the property or bring their own.

I stayed here with my children, confident that I would be happy with the place after reading great reviews and it did not disappoint. The room was clean, comfortable, plenty of space and loads of plug sockets! Staff were brilliant, decent menu, free parking. No complaints at all and would certainly recommend

Excellent value for money, clean, warm, lovely staff, nice dinning area, friendly atmosphere, food and drink available, parking and only about 10 minutes walk into to York, will definitely stay here again in future highly recommended this property

It was so clean and comfortable with a lot of space. The showers were very clean [with hot water + a nice pressure] and seperate from the toilet. The female dorm was very large and the beds had their own light + electrical outlet. The cafe downstairs had couches + was super comfortable, I was able to get a hot drink + food until late at night. Literally the best hostel experience ever!

great location a 20 minute stroll along the river to York centre. the cafe was great a selection of hot/cold drinks, snacks and food, at affordable prices. The staff were very helpful and attentive. we played a couple of board games and pool, which is available to all. only thing we miss out on was breakfast as they stop serving at 9am i thought it was 10!

The location was perfect for the city centre. The rooms were comfortable , clean and had everything you need . The staff were friendly and very helpful . We have never stopped in a youth hostel before but this has changed our whole outlook on city breaks . We will be re booking for sure .
