If you have opted to pay at property The Queens Hotel will ask for payment on arrival either by debit or credit card. The Queens Hotel does not accept any groups of 6 people or more. Group Policy: Bookings with 3 rooms or more (up to 6 people total) will be required to pay a 50% non refundable deposit within 24 hours of booking. Please note that some rooms boast views of the river. These rooms are subject to availability and at a surcharge.The Royal Brasserie serves dinner daily between 17:00 and 20:30. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 07:30 until 10.00 Monday to Friday, and 10:30 at weekends. Booking a table for breakfast and dinner on arrival is essential.Parking is pre-bookable only (height restrictions apply)and carries a nightly supplement. When the hotel car park is full or closed due to flooding, you can use a nearby public parking facility. Alternative National Car Parks parking is located 200 yards from the property and costs GBP 27 per 24 hours.Please specify the total number of guests and the children's age when booking family rooms. You can note this in the Special Requests box. Please note the room can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. Please note during January and February evening service may be reduced. The location of this hotel is really lovely, on the river, at one end of the city. The hotel is cosy, clean and in good decorative order. There are some very friendly and welcoming staff. The assistant manager is extremely professional and helpful.

Comfortable, close to town, friendly staff, great breakfast and nice bar area. Only thing I would say would be additional plugs esp near bedside needed. One single plug socket across the room not ideal but other than that good little hotel

Breakfast was a good buffet option. The location was excellent with lovely river views definately recommend when staying in York such a beautiful city.
