Was delighted when I booked in and saw our bedroom. Was lovely, with all amenities. We only stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer. Staff were very polite and helpful, and breakfast was superb. And so close to the town which made it easier since we didn't have a car. Have recommended this place to my friends who are eager to stay here and we are looking forward to hopefully returning here soon.

Lovely hotel with parking right in the heart of York. Really good valuable for money staff very friendly and the hotel well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide range of options available.

All the hotel staff were wonderful. Our welcome at Reception was warm and friendly, and we were made to feel valued guests throughout our stay by the entire receptionist team. The dining staff were also excellent, helpful and efficient, and the breakfasts were superb. The room staff kept us well supplied with refreshments throughout, and overall our room and en-suite were perfect for us. We were visiting York for the first time, and the Minster Hotel proved to be the perfect place to stay while exploring the city.

The location is excellent with a short walk in to the city centre and all of its amazing attractions. There is private parking. The room was spacious, with comfortable seating and had good tea and coffee options with tasty biscuits. There was plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. The shower was a very good size too. Breakfast was exceptional with an excellent choice, all served by incredibly friendly and helpful staff. All of the staff, including the reception, were engaging and super friendly and we have booked again.
