Excellent location. Very close to the Minster. Breakfast was reasonably good although the window for serving breakfast was quite limited, only available between 09:00-09:30

Great location, super helpful staff . Any issues were dealt with quickly, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. A lovely pub and comfy room.

Great location! 10 mins from the train station, near The Shambles, York Minster, and access to the city walls. Staff were lovely and friendly. The pub was cosy and welcoming. The room was small but had what we needed. Bed was a bit firm for me, but I slept OK. Due to location, there was some street noise, and I kept hearing a noise from below that sounded about a large fridge or something. It was fine, though. The bathroom was again small but nice, let down by the grubby silicone, and a new shower head is needed wee black bits were falling off when it was in use. Temperature and pressure were good though. There's a hairdryer, iron, toiletries and tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was good!

Excellent location and cozy tavern. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for you. Breakfast was great with both hot and cold options and anything you wanted as long as they could muster it up. Rooms were quiet and warm

A great little place very close to all of York's shops, restaurants and tourist sites. The room was really nicely decorated and had all the little touches that make your stay comfortable, such as tea and coffee facilities, complementary water, and toiletries in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome straight away. At the time of booking, this room was the same price as the Premier Inn and it was far superior to anything they offer. I'm glad I chose to support a local business.
