It was a perfect location for walking into the city for all the attractions, 10-15 mins. The guest house was very clean and the proprietors were lovely. Excellent breakfast in the mornings cooked to your liking.

The breakfast buffet had an incredible spread. I've stayed at large chains that had less variety. The hosts Danielle and Tarquin were lovely. Room was clean and surprisingly well equipped. Kettle, iron, cot for the toddler, mini fridge, shower with a variety of products. Parking in the read and a short walk into town. We will be back for sure! Thank you to the hosts!

The apple house is situated just outside the city and only a short walk away. The bedrooms are a good size, and very clean. The hosts are lovely people and make you feel wanted. This was our third stay and would recommend to anyone to consider the apple house.

The Apple House greeted us with a friendly and very welcoming arrival. There are so many well thought out extras. The room we stayed in (number 2 Empire) was spacious with a quality stocked tea tray, beautiful towels, very comfortable bed and an additional heater should you need it. The breakfast was exceptional especially enjoyed the fruit bowl and thick yoghurt (much better than many others hotels/b&b's). I also posted a Google review which shows the fruit on offer. We are looking forward to many more stays. Short walk into city, plus when you get to the traffic lights where Micklegate starts there are steps on the left up to the wall and that is a lovely walk along into the city centre.
