Please note that there are two check-in periods at Midway House.Guests can check in between 11:00 - 13:00 and 16:00 - 19:00.Saturday check in is between 10.00 and 13.00 and then 17.00 to 19.00.Later check- ins are offered via key safe by prior arrangement.Please note, food is not permitted in rooms.Please note that the guest dining room is currently closed due to the social distancing guidelines. Breakfast will be delivered to guest rooms only.No group bookings of more than 3 rooms unless by prior arrangement.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

We only needed a room for the night, close to the outlets we were visiting next day, this place was ideal for that. It was explained on arrival that they aren’t usually open at this time of year so there was no breakfast available. It wasn’t a problem.

It was very convenient for getting into York. The host was very helpful, our room was comfortable and breakfast was lovely. Free parking on site which is a bonus, although it was a bit tight if you came in late

The room was very comfortable and spacious and the owner was very welcoming. The location worked very well with a bus stop right outside with regular buses into York centre. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast. A table and chairs in the room was very useful as we got something to eat from the nearby Aldi.

Bus across the road easy to get into town. Good parking facilities. Extra toilet roll, towels and coffee/tea left on the landing. Breakfast was ok.

Comfortable and warm. Flexible, allowing takeaway food to be delivered, providing cutlery. Plenty of tea and coffee available! Easy access to a regular bus service into the city centre (15 minute journey).
