Its location just on south side of the river meant it was easy to walk to central tourist areas. Room was comfortable with kettle and fridge.

The hotel is perfectly placed to walk into York. It is a lovely hotel. Well maintained and comfortable. The room was cosy with all the amenities you’d expect. Kettle, iron etc

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to the city center, yet it’s tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area. It’s the perfect blend of accessibility and tranquility.The staff were friendly.They really made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay.I booked a single room which was just right for me. It was well-equipped with a TV, hair dryer, mini bar, and a hot shower.

The hotel was so pretty, the rooms were big and the bed and bedding was so comfortable. Nice range of tea bags/coffee in the room. Friendly staff. The breakfast was really good, service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend. Close to all local attractions (easy 13 min walk from station).

Perfect location for York city centre. Lovely room in a nice old building with gardens and an onsite carpark. Cosy and warm in the bedroom whilst it was freezing outside. Really nice shower. Good little extras like the tea and bikkies.

The staff are so friendly and attentive and the facilities are exceptional. There's a restaurant and bar as well as free luggage drop off, which you usually have to pay extra for. The hotel itself is very clean and very well decorated, which makes it unique, exceeding my expecatations. The location is also very close to the centre and the appearance of the hotel itself exceeded my expectations.

Good selection for breakfast and my poached egg made to how I like it. Dinner was excellent too. Fantastic location and easy walk into town and the Shambles.
