Hotel is great. Staff are lovely. Dishpal on reception was very welcoming and helpful. A real credit. Bed was very big and comfortable. Our one bugbear was all the incredibly creaky floorboards around. It was all you could hear walking along the corridor on the second floor and we could hear the creaking floorboards from the people walking about in the room above us until after midnight. The breakfast is good, but they ran out of croissants and pastries at 9.30am so we had none.

The room was lovely and spacious, with a four poster bed. Very comfortable although a lit dated. The staff were also lovely, particularly the receptionist (male)

breakfast was good, plenty of choice. main areas good, rooms okay pick this hotel as plenty of parking which is quite rare in York

Staff where incredible room was spotless and the food was delicious it's 5 star stay only issue was the pillows where slightly on the firmer side
