A fantastic location about 5 mins walk from the city centre. The property was recently renovated and so was clean and tidy.

Fantastic location for York, good pubs within short distance e g Gillygate for live Jazz music on one night, Bootham for football/ real ale, Fat Badger for food. Accommodation facilities and decor felt like a proper home, heating easy to use , felt very cosy and nice touch with Christmas tree

The location was fabulous...just a short walk from the old centre of York. This means you could leave the car and walk each day - the parking space was a real boon. The bed was super comfy and the bedroom nice and quiet. Also, there was so much space for the two of us!

Excellent location close to York Minster. Very useful having a parking space. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Lovely lounge with comfortable sofas and an excellent TV. Nice bathroom with a huge walk in shower.Comfortable bed.

Our first visit to York and fell in love with the city immediately. Location with free parking was brilliant. Only a short walk to the tourist places and shops. The Shambles lanes felt like walking back into Dickensian times with quirky shops. The place itself was very comfortable and clean and well equipped with everything you may need. I would definitely stay here again with my next visit to York.
