No private parking is available on site, but limited private parking is available in Bootham Row nearby. Further options are available at Union Terrace public car park and Monk Bar car park. Both are at an extra cost of GBP 15 from arrival until 12:00 the next day. Permits are available for this from reception.A full English breakfast can be added for an additional GBP 12.50 per person per night. This can be booked with reception upon check-in. Please note, check-in is strictly from 14:00 until 22:00.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

I really love this hotel i come here everytime I stay in york and they never disappoint! Check in was quick, the staff were really helpful as always and made me feel welcome.the bed was comfy and the room was clean it was such a nice room. The hotel is close to the train station and is so close to the city centre. I'd deffo recommend to anyone and I will be back

An extra star - there was GOOD LIGHTING FOR READING in the bedroom. In many hotels the lighting is too dim to read a book, newspaper, travel guide etc. comfortably!

Had a pleasant stay here for three nights in one of the double bedrooms. Very clean, spacious room, comfortable bed and a powerful hot shower. Couldn’t fault the location - I’d definitely stay here again when next visiting the city.

Room was nice, requested twin room for me and my son, ended up with a double and single, nice room. Location great, close to the Shambles and other attractions. Didn't have any food in the property.

Perfect location, very close to York cathedral. Room small but very clean and comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was terrific.

Although a little dated , this just adds to the charm Of it , very clean , tidy with modern furnishings Staff were lovely , friendly and good breakfast choice , location is great

Heating could be controlled in the room. A plus point for me. Good choice for breakfast.
