Located just 20 minutes walk from York Minster, The Dairy is a converted town dairy set in a restored and upgraded Victorian townhouse with many original features. It is 15 minutes walk from the Shambles.
Each individually styled room has a TV with a DVD player, hot drink facilities, mineral water, a hairdryer and an alarm clock. You will also find toiletries in the rooms.
Every morning, guests will enjoy a traditional English breakfast with locally sourced produce, York bacon and sausages, free range eggs and York honey. A lighter option with cereals and yoghurt is also available.

The perfect bacon to muffin ratio on the eggs Benedict. Breakfast was a great little touch. Really good quality!

The Diary guest house is in a great location within walking distance to the City centre & good access for all amenities. Mike was an attentive host but not intrusive & served a very nice breakfast. We had a lovely room with good facilities & a comfortable bed. We noted there is a courtyard which would be a quiet pleasant area available for guests in the finer weather.

Comfy, not far from the city centre, tastefully decorated, lovely breakfast and excellent host. Situated in a lovely part of town known as 'Bishy Road' with its own trendy cafes, shops, and eateries. So, if you don't fancy the stroll into the city, you can always find something local.
