For starters, this wasn't our first rodeo at Clementines. Over the past couple of years, I must've called - either with my son or partner - some 4/5 times. Rooms exquisite, staff and welcome exemplary, an ambience you won't find anywhere else in York. The decor is classic yet contemporary, amazing beds, wonderful bathrooms, AND - for the first time yet - we had breakfast. Oh my life, what've I been spending my life doing?? Superb spread, all seemingly local produce, and JUST the right amount of food to set you off on your day. Plus, it snowed over Saturday night, so we woke to a deep blanket of the white stuff. Lovely.

On arrival we were given an upgrade to a beautiful larger room. Lovely decor, comfortable bed and lovely facilities. The staff are wonderful,happy to help with every aspect of our stay and brought my breakfast to our room as my daughter was poorly.

The hotel was absolutely stunning. Every detail all of it. The staff were amazing and friendly. The breakfast was stunning and the bar and seating area stunning. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and in a lovely peaceful area and only a ten minute walk into the centre. We will definitely return best hotel I have stayed in absolutely beautiful
