We loved our stay. Our room was clean, the bed comfy and the location perfect for exploring York. Mick was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We loved that we could park our car for the duration of our stay and the vegan breakfast was good.

The breakfast was very good ,we had the full English , also cereal fresh fruit and juice on offer at breakfast . Our room was spotless and the bed very comfy. We had a large on suite with soft fluffy towels and toiletries all provided for us guests. The Bronte is only around a 10 minute walk from York Minster and 15 minutes to the shambles, it’s situated very central. Mick and Mandy made us very welcome and attended to all our needs . With it been Christmas they even had mince pies and warm punch for guest to help themselves. We have stayed in York numerous times and this beats them all by far ,we will definitely be returning next year.

This guest house is a gem in york. The room was fantastic spacious and had a lot of extra touches. The hosts were amazing very approachable and friendly. The young girl who served the breakfast was the best helpful and professional as well as being so cheerful, the breakfast was the best individually cooked and hot. Would definitely stay again.
