Spacious and within easy reach of the city centre, this is a great part of York to stay to feel the charm of the city, near the city walls, museum gardens, bars restaurants and the walking distance to the river, a great base to explore from.

Firstly, communication with the host, Amy, was very easy and replies to any questions prior to booking were responded to swiftly. Beautiful, homely and cosy apartment that had all we were looking for. All the facilities were of excellent quality. The kitchen had all that you would need to cook as if you were at home. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding and towels supplied were of very good quality. The accommodation was warm and welcoming and literally a five minute walk to the centre of town. There was a Sainsburys local just a few minutes walk which was very handy. We took our dog with us and as the weather was a little damp it was handy to have the entrance hall where we could wipe his feet before going onto the lovely carpets! The street itself is very quiet considering the proximity to the town. We would highly recommend a stay here whilst visiting all the sights of lovely York! Amy had decorated the apartment for Xmas and even left a card and gift for us.

Warm and comfortable, bed is very comfortable and there is a TV at the end of the bed. Suitable for the family with 4. Near to the old town of York, walkable and convenient, Quiet and clean. Host is very friendly and responsive. Recommend

I like the decoration style, cozy and neat, it is family friendly, there are colorful plastic utensils for kids in the kitchen, and there are story books and little toys for kids too.
