Please ensure you check out before 10 am; otherwise, you may be charged for an extra night.Proof of identification: A valid proof of ID must be shown on arrival, including a passport, driving license, and national identity cards. The property cannot accept paper driving licenses and student or employee IDs as proof of identity.Key Card: You will be required to give us a £5 key deposit for your room access card at check-in time.Bar: Our Flamingo bar is open! Come and enjoy a selection of local/international beers and spirits.Common Areas: The kitchen and common areas are all back open! Whooop whoop! (Kitchen and lounges will be shut at midnight and reopening at 8 am).Facilities: Please be aware that our building has no lift and that you may be assigned to one of our top floors and a top bunk bed.Events: The hostel organises daily events aimed at backpackers between the ages of 18-30 years.Please note that all bookings are subject to the signing of the property's terms and conditions via a rental agreement which will be emailed to the guest following their reservation. Please note that all guests must be aged over 18. Different policies and additional supplements will apply when booking for 12 persons or more. A valid government-issued ID must be presented at check-in.Luggage storage is free on the day of arrival and costs GBP 2 per bag on the day of departure. An extra fee of GBP 7.5 per bag per day applies for the days following checkout. Storage lockers for small valuables are available for GBP 2 per day. Towels are available for rent at GBP 3.This property can only accommodate guests aged 18 years and over. Underage guests who book will not be accommodated and will not be refunded.Different policies and additional supplements will apply when booking for 12 persons or more.Please Note: For the safety of others, anyone exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 will be unable to stay at the hostel. Therefore, we recommend you return home if travelling domestically or to use specialist self-isolation accommodation. Self-Isolation - Guests who wish to self-isolate in the hostel must do so in a private room; guests must not perform the self-isolation period if coming from abroad in shared dorms.The price of breakfast to £3.50 and 3 for £9, Luggage storage to £2.5, Towels to £3.50 .Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Staff were great, very friendly. From Ellies phone call to reply to my message, to the check in explanation very informative and friendly. Place had a nice atmosphere, lovely building with good communal facilities. Room was clean, really good value for money. Parking was an absolute bonus. We'd stay here again without hesitation!

Great place to stay! The staff is very helpfull, the place is clean and met great people there! It's quite if that's what u want, but people are very friendly if u want to make friends. I definitely recommend it.

The room was amazing, good size, lockers under the bed. The people who stayed in the room were really nice, The common room was very warm and welcoming along with the kitchen. The breakfast for £3.50 was good, there was cereals, toast and tea/coffee. There is free tea, coffee and juices through out the day, which is such a good bonus. I really like that the beds are made when you arrive too (many other hostels require you to make your own bed!) Which is a pain, so thank you. The city centre is about a 20 min walk, but there is a bus stop out side the hostel. The staff were all really helpful, warm and welcoming.

Everything. have not expected this one night stay to turn out like this. The staff were excellent,kind , helpful,and very friendly. They played movies in the hall with the projector. Even with people sharing the rooms, toilets and kitchen all of them are clean and tidy . There are people staying for a long time it seems. A good chance to meet people around the world and country. Will definitely come back if I visit York or pass through. For this rate this is a good place

I stay here every time I pass by York. It's clean, it's adequately quiet (no crazy parties, pub/bar noise, drunk crawling around). Big and always clean kitchen with everything you need. The rooms are really warm and there're plenty of them with the toilets in and outside of the rooms. Very cool lounge area with piano, chess, etc. Nice and chilled atmosphere. Staff is absolutely lovely and helpful! The best guys ever. Parking is a BIG bonus (5£ per a day, what else to wish). Guys alway allow me to leave my car for another 2-3 hours after checkout. 15 min walk to the old town.

the staff there is just incredible. patrick in particular was incredibly sweet and welcoming, helped with my bags. there is a bar onsite, lounge areas, and a projector for movie nights with popcorn. kitchen is massive and super clean. everyone i encountered was very nice. it was my first time sleeping in a mixed dorm room, which i probably won't ever do again for reasons that has nothing to do with the hostel itself

Located in a safe neighborhood, bus stop right at door step which takes you to York train station & city center. Friendly check-in staff, good & comfy lounge area, well decorated & very clean. Ensuite bathroom was a big plus - spacious & clean.
