The housekeeper was nice and kind with us. The room was clean and warm, just like a real japanese house would be. The staff let park our car inside the property moving their car away.

Nice and friendly guesthouse. We had the tatami room and the futons came with extra mattresses which was nice to prevent sleeping on a cold floor. Food was available for breakfast and dinner and was very good.

The hostess, Takasan, is so down to earth, organized, nice, and fun! The main common area is wonderful, allowing local and international guests to mingle. There is also a small bar right in front of her kitchen. The food warms you up (I am travelling in winter.)

Stayed here for one night to go to the snow monkey park the day after. Friendly and welcoming people, homey feel. Clean sleeping area and bathroom/toilet, spacious bedroom. Very close to the station.

I just loved this place. All very well taking care, you feel very at home. The honer is really sweet and ready to help, she is fantastic. The place is clean, cozy , food is so good! You feel completely at home.
