DETAILS: Last weekend we enjoyed a delightful stay at Dudin Mansion. In an old farm building (maybe a stable once?) with heavy stone walls and arched windows, the owners furnished three spacious units facing a rustic courtyard. The yard included a small swimming pool, some chairs, and a deck area with barbecue and bar suitable for small events, and a pool table(with crooked cues and an odd assortment of balls). Our unit was a large room with a comfortable queen-size bed flanked by nightstands, a sideboard with a TV, and two armchairs. A basic kitchenette with a small dining table and two chairs was set off from the bed area with a low wall. On the far side of the bed area was a family-size hot tub (which we did not try). The large air conditioner adequately cooled the large room. The lighting in the bed area was just adequate for night-time reading, but more light fixtures would be helpful. The facilities were rounded out by a small closet, sink and vanity, and a comfortably-sized bathroom with toilet and shower that worked well. Towels, shampoo, and soap were provided. The owners, Sigal and Dudi, were friendly, courteous, and attentive, but unobtrusive. We did not order the optional breakfasts. Our overall impression was very favorable, and we are likely to return.
