Hotel Overview

The Kings Arms is an 18th Century Inn located in the picturesque village of Montacute near to the stately home Montacute House, used for filming 'Sense and Sensibility'.
Our 15 spacious, en-suite rooms have recently been refurbished and most offer exquisite views of South Somerset. We have an on-site restaurant and a bar with an open roaring log fire providing various meal options and a relaxed atmosphere.

The evening meal and the porridge at breakfast were excellent. It was quiet. The shower was excellent. The staff were all very friendly. The tables in the restaurant were well-spaced.

The staff were really friendly, polite and professional. Our room and en-suite were clean and comfortable. We had dinner on the evening we arrived which was delicious and excellent value for money. Our breakfast was superb and really set us up for the day.
