The 6 star hotels shown below are a shortcut to the newest and best hotels in Yangon. Officially there are no 6 star Yangon hotels. No formal accreditation body recognises more than 5 stars. But a 6 star Yangon hotel still sounds amazing, doesn't it.

A hotel with a 9/10 or better review usually indicates it's a newer hotel with less than 1,000 reviews. As the hotel ages, the number of reviews increases, and inevitably the review score declines.
