This little boutique hotel is probably one of my favourite stays I've ever had. My sister and I both stayed here and we kept remarking about the small touches that made it so wonderful. From the lounge area with tea, coffee and biscuits always on hand, to thoughtful beach towels and bags to use, to the complimentary daily snacks in room - it was a truly luxurious experience. And the location is amazing!

Love this accom so much. It was our 3rd stay. Yamba is the sweetest little town, and this hotel is a whole destination in itself. We booked Christmas week, with our young adult children and just wanted to enjoy some quiet time and show them around. Unfortunately, you can’t control who you are staying along side of, and we had the rudest, large family stay at the same time. They weren’t all guests of the surf. However, they came from other rentals to use the amenities, and took over almost every rec space they could. Which hampered the stay of everyone else there. I felt that they should have been scolded by management a little more. Unfortunately, money doesn’t buy class or manners and people will usually disappoint, and it really put a dampener on our trip. Especially Christmas Day.

The attention to detail in this Hotel is second to none. The place is absolutely spotless. If you like to watch TV after a day at the beach you have every channel you like. If you like a coffee there is a jura coffee machine in an amazing common room with ice machine. Could go on and on , just perfect.

The location was exceptional – right on the beach with ocean views. It was beautifully designed and thoughtfully outfitted. I loved the little touches like the mini bar goodies and the use of beach towels. We spent the evening playing board games on the rooftop deck while enjoying the view. Overall, it was the accomodation highlight of our trip. We hope to be back again soon!

Garry and the team at The Surf create a 'we never want to leave and if we have to, when can we return?' experience. The room, rooftop pool, indoor and outdoor spaces are excellent. Extras like the beautiful bedding, towels, bar snacks and Byron Bay cookies just ramp it all up a notch. It's the bees knees.

I LOVED staying at The Surf, Yamba! The property has truly thought of everything to make your stay unforgettable. The solar-heated rooftop pool has breathtaking views and is just a stone's throw from the main beach. I loved the freedom to bring my own drinks or food to the rooftop lounge area. Also appreciated the complimentary Byron Bay cookies and fresh apples. The bedroom was a stylish oasis, complete with an ultra-comfy bed and was very quiet. The front desk manager, Gary, was an absolute gem – friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. I can't wait until I can return to The Surf, Yamba. I highly recommend this incredible property to anyone an unforgettable getaway.
