It was great! The place has a lot of charm, traditional Ryokan and a nice Onsen. The owner is a symbol of Japanese hospitality, he gave us a lift to the monkey park and let us leave the baggage there while we were visiting the city. The japanese breakfast was good too! All in all, it was one of the most authentic experiences we have had in Japan

This is a small and very rustic Ryokan with an Onsen that draws on the natural hot springs, which makes for relaxing evenings, especially when the weather doesn't play along, as was the case during my stay. The owner is polite and helpful - he carpooled me and three other guests to the snow monkey park 🫶🏽 I particularly love the large and spacious traditional room, tatami floors, very comfortable futon, a little dining corner with delicious green tea and coffee, another seating area, and an aircon to provide heating / cooling.

Authenticity!!!! - The staff are amazing and lovely people - The food!! - The Onsen!! - Just the whole dam experience was brilliant - 15 minutes from the Snow Monkey Park.

0ur host was extremely helpful. The meals were amazing, dinner was about 12 different dishes, predominantly fish. It would be a little difficult if you were vegetarian, as in most of Japan, but there was some tofu.

A special charming place with very nice and interesting host in a green surrounding. We loved to have long walks through the countryside and enjoyed the onsen.
