We loved everything about our stay. The location was excellent and very convenient to local attractions. We had a hire car and found parking easily at the nearby parking lot. The ryokan provides a shuttle service to the nearby Monkey Park if you don't have a car. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we loved the traditional ryokan experience. We were provided with yukata and a cane basket so we could visit each of the 9 public baths in Shibu Onsen, and collect the stamps. This is a great budget option offering good value for money.

Loved staying at this 100yr old building. Very comfortable room. Staff are lovely and really help you out with anything.

It was amazing, traditional and great staff who helped with everything, and took us to the monkey park that was the highlight of our trip.

Staff super friendly and flexible. Beautiful old ryokan, right on the Main Street and with access to nine onsen. Free shuttle bus to monkey park very handy. Yummy breakfast sandwich. Beats town to walk around.
