Free breakfast was a nice surprise, transport to the Monkey park was free and meant we could beat the crowds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Out room was spacious and warm.

The room was spacious, bed comfortable, clean, fridge and kettle in room, onsen was great! The host was delightful. She offered us ski clothes to loan for free which was much appreciated. The breakfast was hearty and filling.

The family and the woman that runs the Inn is the friendliest and most helpful person we have met on our trip. Nothing is too much trouble and all the snow gear was free.

Kobayashi was a superb host. She was available, accommodating, responsive, super friendly and caring. The provision of free ski clothing and equipment and transport to local resort was great as were the free daily hot breakfasts! Highly recommended.

The staff were so helpful. I had the onsen to myself in the middle of the day. The free shuttle to the monkey park was very helpful in getting us there before the crowds. The beds were cosy, and the view from our room was very pretty. The breakfast was traditio al and good value. I highly recommend this ryokan.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough. The accommodation is lovely, futon are incredibly comfortable, and the staff at the hotel will assist you with anything! They provided us with breakfast at no charge and personally drove us to the snow monkeys and the local ski field. Loveliest hosts of all our travels through Japan! The accommodation is also very handy - walking distance from Yudanaka station, convenience store and lots of restaurants. Highly recommend.

Room 401 was a good size room, a very good tatami sleeping experience for our kids. The ryokan has a lift, onsen at the basement and restaurant at the 5th level. The breakfast was very good and generous. We were given a free drop off to the snow monkey park at a time we chose the night before the trip. Another thing we loved was the proximity to Yudanaka station (bus and train), Izakayas and even Lawson (my main source of beer😅). Snow gear can also be borrowed for free before heading out.

Helpful and generous owner who drove us to the Snow Monkey Forest, provided an amazing vegetarian breakfast, and facilitated the private use of the property onsen... Big spacious room, close to the station and restaurants

The Japanese-style tatami room was lovely and spacious by Japanese standards. The views from the room towards the hills were fantastic and the host was very friendly and super helpful. The onsen is very small but we were the only ones in it at the time we used it so enjoyed it. There is no outdoor onsen, just the small indoor bath.
