This is my second time staying here, and will definitely not be the last! The rooms are spacious, beautifully kept, tranquil and the staff are ever so kind. Beyond being incredibly helpful, they even treated us to prized local fruits when we left! You can catch views of Mt Fuji from upstairs - definitely recommend a sunrise reflection! The onsen bath at night is probably what we look forward to the most. Great experiences all round. We will be back!

The place is amazing, the Japanese garden and onsen are perfect. The rooms are also very nice. The host is also super nice, it was the best stay we had in Japan.

Amazing host, really kind. She gave us plenty of advice to visit the area or where to eat. Our traditional Japanese room was big, quiet, clean and nice with comfy futons. The bathroom was really beautiful and enjoyable. Thank you for this lovely and peaceful stay, it was the best of our trip in Japan

The host was amazing. So enthusiastic, friendly and keen to make our stay memorable. The rooms were traditional Japanese rooms as was the house which was a great experience. The ability to hire bikes on site made our visit and we cycled everywhere around the lake.

The host was so welcoming and helpful. When we arrived, she helped us book a very early taxi for the following morning--even calling two companies to compare prices. We rented bikes for a very reasonable price to cycle around the lake. She also recommended a delicious traditional restaurant for dinner. The location is superb, quietly nestled behind the main street and with a stunning view of Mt Fuji. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. And the bath is just amazing. Highly recommend!

It felt like a traditional home stay. The room was spacious & comfortable (even sleeping on the traditional Japanese beds on the floor). The bath was lovely. A relaxing stay.

Nice traditional property with view on the Japanese garden and Fujisan (when it’s visible) The staff was extremely kind and friendly. Would come back here again if I can.
